Mitch Greenspoon - Chairman / Co-Founder

Mitch Greenspoon was President of the original management team that created Capcium, in 2013, and has been responsible for the strategic growth of the company ever since. Mitch has an extensive background in mid-market M&A and capital markets as President and Head of Investment Banking for Orion Securities and a member of the senior management team that sold Orion to Macquarie Capital Markets in 2008. Mitch’s predominant focus in his banking career from 1993-2011 were the healthcare and technology sectors, where he funded more than 100 companies from early stage to pre-public, IPO and follow-on offerings. Since joining GI Sportz in 2011, Mitch has spearheaded the growth of the company to become the largest global paintball company.

Sylvain Duvernay - CEO

Sylvain Duvernay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in International Trade. He has over 20 years of experience in international business. Sylvain filled the position of Senior Vice-President for Strides Arcolab Ltd. (now Mylan), a pharmaceutical generic product company involved in softgel, injectable and solid dose manufacturing. He led its Canadian operations as well as its business development in the United States. In 2008, Sylvain was behind the acquisition of the Bristol-Myers Squibb facility in Candiac where he developed a business model for the injectable business and acted as the President and CEO for the new entity, Uman Pharma Inc. The company was sold to Pharmascience in November 2014 (now Pharmascience Global Injectables).

Nicolas Giroux - CFO

Nicolas Giroux joined Capcium shortly after it was created in 2013 as the VP of Strategic and Business Development and ultimately taking the position of CFO in 2017. In this role, Nic is responsible for financial operations, risk management, forecasting, cash management, and finance as well as business development. Prior to joining Capcium, Nic was a Senior Manager at the largest accounting firm in Quebec.

Alexander MacAngus - General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Alexander MacAngus joined Capcium in 2016 as the General Counsel and has been responsible for the legal requirements pertaining to M&A, financings, regulatory compliance, risk management and litigation, as well as being the corporate secretary. Alex formerly held in-house legal positions for one of Canada’s largest public companies, as well as one of Canada’s largest privately held companies, and previously worked at a top AMLaw 100 firm in Manhattan, NY.
